You can use a homemade countertop cleaner that will quickly remove dirt and is inexpensive to make. Mix 1/2 a cup of vinegar, 1 cup of ammonia, and 1/4 cup of baking soda in a gallon of hot water. Apply this mixture to the countertop using a sponge, rinse with water and buff to get the best results. Remember to wear rubber gloves when making this mixture and work in a well ventilated area when cleaning with the solution as it tends to be powerful.
